SHE.ME.US contains three pieces of artworks by Jiwon Shin that individually combine analog and digital ways of communication in order to prompt the viewers to think about how the level of engagement changes according to different ways of communication. The artworks question whether an analog method of communication can be directly substituted for its digital counterpart and suggests new ways of communication by intertwining both methods together. The projects provide spaces in which viewers can compare the analog and the digital methods used in each of the artworks in delivering the intended messages.

Jiwon Shin’s past work consists of public sculptures, projections and pieces involving digital appropriations. In her recent works, she utilizes computer programming in environments such as web, Processing and Arduino.
