Vinyl DJ Workshop
Join artist James Kelly for a hands on vinyl DJ’ing workshop. Participants will be introduced to DJ equipment such as the turntable and DJ mixer, and learn how to scratch and mix with vinyl records.

James Kelly: Phonography
Join us for the opening reception of Phonography, which exhibits research carried out by Dr James Kelly looking at vinyl records and their use in music composition, performance, and sound art. The exhibition includes a collection of unusual records which exploit some of the media’s creative potentials and limitations. Depending on the creators intentions, these records are called; dubplates, DJ tools, anti-records and artist recordworks.

We welcome the whole family to take a journey together through the 'Khaleej Modern: Pioneers and Collectives in the Arabian Peninsula' exhibition. The tour will adapt according to the age groups. The youth guide is most appropriate for ages 8 and above.

The NYUAD Art Gallery Teen Council invites you to interact with the current exhibition, 'Khaleej Modern: Pioneers and Collectives in the Arabian Peninsula,' in its final week with a curator-led tour on Saturday, December 10, at 4 PM, followed by an art-making workshop inspired by the styles and techniques that the artists on view used.
